Patagonia Baltimore is partnering with the Baltimore City Recreation and Parks team to clean up a beautiful park in SW Baltimore at the mouth of the Patapsco River. The Patapsco River serves an important function as one of the main tributaries to the Harbor of Baltimore, as well as being the central landmark to the first state park in Maryland, Patapsco Valley State Park.Â
Â
We will be partnering with local organizations, communities and individuals to clean up litter in the park and the water itself. Afterward, we will host a small BBQ to celebrate and connect with each other.Â
Clean-Up Details:
The clean up will take place from 9am-11am.Â
Volunteer options: We are striving to have a big impact on this park so we will be offering two ways to clean up. Use the RSVP page to indicate what type of volunteer your would like to be.  This is also open to folks that want to bring their own kayak (canoe, SUP, ect.).Â
- Land only volunteer
- Kayak volunteer - need to reserve a boat*
- BYO Boat volunteer
*There will be a limited amount of boats available to reserve, these will be free of charge. We will strive to get everyone who is interested in boating, in a boat.Â
BBQ Details:
Patagonia will host a BBQ with our non-profits to celebrate the work done as well as learn more about what we can do to keep our waterways and green spaces clean.Â
